Artificial intelligence is transforming every aspect of our lives. It influences how we work and play. It promises to help solve global challenges such as climate change and access to quality medical care. Yet AI also brings real challenges for industry, governments and citizens alike.
At the #NordicTalk2019 AI Forum we bring together Governments, Ministries, start-ups, SME’s and large corporations to discuss and explore the applications of AI, AR/VR and other technologies, and what makes them successful.

Speakers
Karine Perset
Internet Economist at OECD, France
Karine currently focuses on trends in development and diffusion of AI and on opportunities and challenges that AI raises for public policy. Her other research focused on Internet intermediaries and Internet governance. She also specializes in development economics, ICT and public-private sector. She has worked previously as an Advisor to ICANN’s Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) and yet before as the Counsellor of the OECD’s STI Directors.
Everth Flores
VP/GM Country Manager the Netherlands, Ericsson, the Netherlands
Everth has years of experience with operations and sales. Eveth is currently both a VP/GM in Sales for Europe and, more recently, a VP/GM Country Manager in the Netherlands in Ericsson, being responsible for all operations for Ericsson in the Netherlands. As Ericsson’s Country Manager, Everth has been part in different projects such as in the cooperation between Ericsson ann KPN where the companies worked together to improve traffic safety with 5G. Specifically, Ericsson tested the latest 5G innovations to handle mission critical communications in self-driving vehicles. In #NordicTalks2019, Everth will explain how 5G will serve consumers, enterprises and take the internet of things to the next level.
Camilla Gjetvik
Chief Operating Officer at Boost.ai. Norway
Camilla has been acknowledged as one of Norway’s top 50 females in tech with the history of working in the information technology and services industry. She is one of the first employees of Boost.ai and she specializes in business management and law. She also has an wide experience from contract management and negotiations in the energy sector before entering the tech industry.
Tero Ojanperä
Chairman at silo.ai. Finland
Tero is the Chairman and Co-founder of Silo.AI, the largest private AI lab in the Nordics that offers scalable expertise in machine learning, computer vision and natural language processing. Prior to Silo.AI, Tero Co-founded Visionplus Venture Fund and served at Nokia as CTO, Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Research. Tero is a well-known business influencer in the Nordics and elsewhere, and has served on boards, including Veikkaus, Bittium, University of Tampere and DNA. Tero holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and has versatile abilities and background in the intersection of technology, business and creativity. Tero has been listed as the 7th most creative person in business in 2009 by the Fast Company.

As a CEO of ISPConnect, his role is to take place on behalf of the members in consultation, round tables with the government, and to organize activities and event for the members. ISPConnect provides trade association of internet Service Providers in the areas of privacy, security, training and image. The main objective is to represent the interest of it members collectively. Simon is an experienced manager, trainer and consultant, with extensive multicultural experience from different continents. Simon is also the contact person for members themselves, and the public face of the industry and he participates in debates and forums. He is also blogging and interfacing with other organizations and the government on matters that will affect the Internet sector in The Netherlands.
